The Fourth Quarter

Even though we had our final presentation, there were some of us who stayed around a bit longer to keep working on things.  About half of the team left on Monday while the rest of us stayed around until Thursday.  The intent of this time was to finish as many of the drawings as we could as well as to interact with the ministry more.  One of the things that has been discovered with these project trips is that work gets done more quickly and efficiently when the team is in the the country rather than when the team members have returned back home.  We used this time to get more things done for documenting the project.  Most of our time was spent up in our temporary office working on the computers.  We would then venture down to the dining area for meals.  Here is a humorous picture that shows us being tired from the work (even though we enjoyed doing it) and a quick glimpse of where we would eat.

On Thursday, we all headed to the airport to go back to our respective homes.  It was a bitter sweet time because I knew that I would not see some of these people again.  This seems to be a common emotion within EMI because interns come and go in a few short months and there's no guarantee that team members will ever be on another project that I am on.  But that's just how life goes.  Here is a picture of our team before anyone had left.
